28in. replacement nitro barrels by Holland & Holland (circa 1972), the rib gold-inlaid '1', 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke;
original 28in. nitro reproved barrels, the rib gold-inlaid '1' surmounted with a star, (bore measurements marginal, wall thicknesses well below recommended minimum), 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. and 1/4 choke, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, border and scroll engraving, 14 5/8in. figured stock (cracked at hand) including 1 1/4in. extension and leather-covered recoil pad, escutcheon engraved with a 'K' surmounted with a coronet with 11 pearls, weight 6lb. 11oz. (6lb. 7oz. with original barrels), in a leather case with provision for both sets of barrels
