26 1/2in. nitro barrels, sunken rib engraved 'WILLIAM EVANS. 63, PALL MALL, ST. JAMES'S, LONDON.', and gold-inlaid '1', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, treble-grip action with removable striker discs, toplever gold-inlaid '1', automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, best bold acanthus scroll engraving, retaining slight traces of original colour-hardening, 14 7/8in. figured stock cast off towards central vision (lockplates and furniture also swept) with steel heel and toe plates, crack to rear of left lockplate, weight 6lb. 7oz.
