circa 1880, with blued 3 1/2in. barrel, the sighting rib signed 'GERB. MAUSER & CIE. OBERNDORF A/N. WURTTEMBERG, 1878', crescent fore-sight, notch rear-sight, peacock-blued cylinder with characteristic 'zig-zag' slots, plain frame with cylinder safety mounted on left hand side, swept-back gutta-percha grips with raised vines and mythical beasts, colour-hardened hammer and opening latch, the whole in fine order with almost all original finish remaining, TOGETHER WITH a period full-flap pig-skin holster and spare safety catch
