circa 1852, with 31 3/4in. sighted barrel, the top engraved '151 NEW BOND ST LONDON' (rubbed) and stamped 'LANCASTER'S PATENT', plain border lined lock signed 'LANCASTER'S PATENT', walnut three-quarter stock of volunteer style with chequered panels at the wrist and forend, iron furniture, the trigger-guard inscribed 'H. POWELL', and iron ram-rod (slight traces of colour)
