A 15-BORE PERCUSSION CONTINENTAL RIFLED MUSKET, UNSIGNED,
circa 1780, converted from flintlock circa 1840, with slightly swamped 20 1/2in. barrel, brass dove-tailed fore-sight, rearsight with folding leaf, numbered '22' at breech, plain bevel-edged lock and hammer, walnut full-stock with sliding patch-box in right hand side of butt, raised cheek-piece to left hand side, brass furniture (heel-plate numbered '22'), iron swivels and brass-mounted iron ram-rod marked 'G.T.F. 22' at tip (cleaned with light corrosion to iron surfaces, stock cracked forwards of lock-plate, loss of wood behind top-tang)
