circa 1943, of silver and grey thread embroidered onto a star-shaped blue felt backing, central silver-bordered black swastika and applied gilt metal circular wreath the whole in fine unused condition and retaining its original black gummed-paper backing
Provenance: The cloth version of the German Cross was designed exclusively for attatching to a combat uniform. It was available in Army field grey, Airforce blue and Navy blue depending on branch of service.
