early 20th century, with short smooth-bore barrel within a 17 3/4in. barrel housing, left hand side of receiver stamped 'DAISY', the right hand side with 'PATENTED AUG 13, 1889, JULY 14, 1891- JUNE 21, 1892- MARCH 26, 1901- JULY 30, 1901- OCT 1, 1901' and 'THE DAISY MFG. CO. PLYMOUTH, MICH, USA', plank-style walnut butt-stock with crescent heel end, stamped in the left hand side with the 'Daisy' trademark and factory address, the whole appearing little used and retaining the majority of its original nickel-plated finish
