27 1/2in. nitro barrels with 8mm ventilated matt rib gold-inlaid '2' at the breech end, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, some external pitting, shared fore-end, hold-open toplever, manual safety, single trigger with selector button, detachable trigger group, the action and furniture carved in high relief with bold acanthus scrollwork on a stippled background, surrounding game scene vignettes of hound, fox and fowl, silver finish, 14 1/2in. pistolgrip stock with sling swivels and including 2in. wooden extension and 1in. rubber recoil pad, fore-end with small internal crack to wood, weight 7lb. 9oz., in a leather leg of mutton case with provision for both sets of barrels
