for 2006, 28in. nitro barrels with 8mm solid matt top-rib, the breech-end gold-inlaid with twin bands and with 'LUCIANO BOSIS BRESCIA ITALY' in gold to the left side, side ribs, 2 3/4in. chambers, multichokes (with spares), hold-open toplever, manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, pinless lockplates with concealed flush trapdoor release accesses, gold-washed lockwork and finely scroll-engraved bridles, best fine bouquet and scroll engraving surrounding a banner gold-inlaid 'LUCIANO BOSIS', the underside with a finely engraved gold-accented partridge in flight, retaining virtually full original colour-hardening and finish, the triggerplate signed 'G.S. Pedretti', 14 3/4in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with colour-hardened skeletal steel buttplate, the fore-end gold-inlaid with the makers coat of arms, floral and scroll engraved colour-hardened fore-end finial, weight 7lb. 10oz., in its makers leather motorcase
