for 1920-25, with heavy blued 34in. probable replacement octagonal barrel, dove-tailed adjustable tunnel fore-sight with spirit-level, no provision for rear-sight, slab-sided receiver with central falling breech-block and hammer (devoid of colour), top-tang with base for vernier sight, figured walnut chequered pistol-grip butt-stock with ribbed horn heel-plate and fitted with a further vernier sight base at heel (sight included), under-lever opener forming the trigger-guard and figured chequered walnut splinter fore-end with inlet ebony tip, overall length 51in., weight approximately 12lbs.
