circa 1900, with tapering blued octagonal to round 29 1/2in. barrel, raised matted sighting rib fitted with a large ramp and blade fore-sight and a fully adjustable rear-sight operating via a square socketed key (absent), colour hardened receiver with dropping feed-ramp, walnut stutzen-style full-stock with chequered pistol-grip, the fore-end with central black and white spacers, complex trigger-guard bow forming the underlever, double set triggers and iron sling swivels, much original finish and colour remaining
