dated for 1879, with blued 32 1/2in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, blued octagonal form receiver with straight handled, matching number bolt, walnut straight hand full-stock with 1880 dated roundel stamped to right side of butt, the name 'P. ROUX' stamped to underside of butt behind the trigger guard, iron furniture and matching number loop-ended clearing rod, the whole retaining much possibly original finish
