A 40-BORE PERCUSSION HOLSTER-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number,
Continental, probably Belgian or German circa 1800 with later conversion from flint, slightly swamped twist iron octagonal 9 1/4in. rifled barrel, applied fore-sight, prominent standing notch rear-sight, engraved top-tang, flat borderline engraved lock with pointed tail, retaining vestiges of the pan and with engraved detail, walnut full-stock with chequered grip swelling at the pommel engraved domed iron butt-cap, spurred iron trigger-guard, single set trigger, moulded fore-end tip and brass tipped ramrod
