circa 1850, with blued 32in. barrels, the top-rib signed in gilt 'DAMAS ANGLAIS' bracketed with white metal scrolls, bead fore-sight, white metal bands at breech, borderline and scroll engraved top-tang, borderline and scroll engraved hump-backed bar-action locks with dipped tails and gilt signature 'J TAUBER' on the left and 'IN ZURICH' on the right, chequered walnut half-stock, paktong furniture with borderline and scroll engraving, iron sling-swivels and provision for under-barrel ramrod (absent)
