dated for 1811, with slightly tapered round iron 9in. barrel marked with E.I.C. proofs and inspectors stamps at breech, moulded band, plain solid top-tang, borderline engraved flat lock with pointed tail marked with the date, ring-necked cock, plain pan and frizzen, walnut full-stock with smooth butt swelling at the pommel and fitted with a moulded brass butt-cap with short side-spurs, brass furniture and captive iron stirrup under-barrel ramrod
