A CASED PAIR OF .600 FLINTLOCK PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,
circa 1805, with re-browned twist-iron 6in. round barrels with flat sighting planes marked 'LONDON', bead fore-sights, gold lines at breech, platinum touch-holes, acanthus leaf engraved top-tangs with shallow sighting notches, flat stepped tail locks with engraved bevel-edges and signed 'H. NOCK' below the pans, swan-necked cocks with sliding safes, rainproof pans, rollers to the frizzen springs, walnut full-stocks (both fore-end tips repaired), chequered bag-shaped butts, iron furniture and captive stirrup ramrods, complete with a period walnut storage-case re-lined and compartmented for these pistols in dark green baize and together with a period three-way flask, a scissors mould, a loading rod and sundry accessories, the inside of lid with a Samuel Nock parchment label (re-applied)
