EGG, LONDON' in gold, twin gold lines at breech, set back gold fore-sight, fully engraved recoloured top-tang with shallow sighting groove, recoloured flat, slightly curved bevel-edged engraved locks signed 'D. EGG' below the pans, stepped and pointed tails, rainproof pans with re-gilded linings and touch-holes, rollers to the frizzen springs, recoloured swan-necked cocks, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, recoloured iron furniture and probable original brass tipped horn ramrod
