circa 1935, with blued 20in. rifled barrel, ramp fore-sight with dove-tailed blade, standing notch rear-sight with elevation screw, the under-side of breech block stamped with the serial number, large rotating cammed locking catch, plain air-chamber engraved 'W.W. GREENER, MAKER, BIRMINGHAM', plain walnut butt-stock with saw-backed pistol-grip and blued iron heel-plate, blued iron trigger-guard with trigger adjustment screw and one-piece cocking link, the whole expertly refinished with mild traces of previous pitting
