AN 8mm CRANK-WOUND GALLERY AIR-RIFLE, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'KÜRBELSPANNER TYPE', no visible serial number,
almost certainly by Oskar Will, Germany circa 1912, with octagonal 24in. smooth-bore barrel, dove-tailed fore-sight blade and standing notch rear-sight, platinum line at breech, plain large diameter air-chamber with a panel of scroll engraving to the top central section, engraved stock mount and broad top-tang, engraved crank escutcheons, chequered walnut butt-stock with raised cheek-piece, engraved scrolled trigger-guard and tang and moulded full-length 'stutzen' style fore-end with push-button barrel-release to right hand side, central 'hook' and horn tip, wood refinished and missing crank but including an engineer produced blank shaft suitable for the re-manufacture of same
