A CASED .177 BARREL-COCKING AIR-RIFLE MODEL 'MKII SERVICE', serial no. S1009,
early second series rifle circa 1934, with matching number 25 1/2in. barrel, push-button barrel release, rotating bolt-handled barrel-lock, 'L' shaped peep-sight to rear, blued air-chamber with model details and patents, trigger unit with makers name and address and fitted with a rotating safety catch, walnut semi pistol-grip butt-stock, ribbed horn heel-plate, the whole refinished and complete with a green canvas-covered 'Webley' shotgun case lined in burgundy baize and partially altered internally for this rifle (some compartments loose), together with an original tin for Webley Special .22 Pellets (no contents) and a facsimile copy of F.E. Morton's booklet 'Hints On Air Rifle Shooting'
