A SCARCE BOXED .22 BREAK-BARREL AIR-RIFLE, MODEL 'MKI METEOR', serial no. T30703,
circa 1959-60, with blued 18in. barrel, ramp and blade fore-sight (no provision for protector), elevating cradle rear-sight, blued air-chamber stamped with the model name and the BSA 'arrow' trademark, front and rear dove-tails for telescopic sight, ribbed pressed metal air-chamber end-cap, beech half-stock with three horizontal grooves to each side of fore-end, the whole appearing unfired and retaining all its factory finish together with its original makers card carton with compressed card support pieces, its original instructions, oil-bottle (contents leaked away) and its BSA 2x plastic telescopic sight in packaging as supplied
Provenance: Prospective buyers should note that BSA air-rifles from this period along with some other manufacturers products can suffer from degradation of seals and washers. Because of its external condition, this rifle has not been tested for functionality
