28in. nitro barrels, Birmingham proofed for 1934 and marked on the flats 'RECOMMENDED LOAD 1 OZ. SHOT', the rib engraved 'WESTLEY RICHARDS & CO. LONDON.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 3/4 choke, scroll-back treble-grip action with Westley Richards patent toplever, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, profusely engraved with fine stylised floral motifs, the makers name in elaborate cartouches to the sides, 15in. figured stock including 1 1/4in. wooden extension, fore-end with engraved Deeley & Edge patent release and horn finial, weight 5lb. 15oz.
