29in. black powder only blued bold damascus barrels, pyramidal raised rib with concave matt top, the left side engraved 'FUSIL L'IDEAL BREVETE DANS TOUS LES PAYS', the right side 'MANUFACTURE FRANCAIS D'ARMES DE ST ETIENNE', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. choke in both, some pits, 'lunette' style double triggers and guard, rearward placed underlever, manual push side triggerblock safety, plain finish, the underside with 'IDEAL' in an oval, 14in. semi-pistolgrip stock including buttplate, sling aperture (no sling), fore-end with selective slide-forward or detach lever, weight 5lb. 2oz.
