completed as a sequentially numbered garniture in 1986 / 7 for the same client and comprising of a .375 H&H Magnum self-opening sidelock ejector double rifle, a 20-bore (3in.) over and under sidelock ejector sporting gun with two sets of barrels and a 20-bore (3in.) self-opening sidelock ejector sporting gun, all remaining in virtually unused condition:

25in. nitro chopperlump barrels with raised matt sight rib, open sights and folding leaf sight for 100 and 300 yards, ramp-mounted bead foresight with hood, sunken rib gold-inlaid in script with the calibre designation, the tubes gold-inlaid 'J. PURDEY & SONS. LONDON: ENGLAND.', the breech end mounted with a Zeiss Diatal-Z 4x32T* telescopic sight, serial number 1974613, in quickly-detachable mounts, with secondary Docter red dot sight, serial number F5852950, on a finely matted and scroll engraved rail (to fit claw mount bases), treble-grip self-opening action with side-bolsters and side-clips, removable striker discs, elongated top-strap, bolted automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, the action, lockplates and furniture finely engraved in relief with bold floral and foliate motifs on a matted background, the lockplates gold-inlaid in script with the makers name and finely engraved in bulino style with a silvertip bear with mountain backdrop and a crow alighting in the foreground (left side) a pair of North American elk (right side), the underside with a wild boar, signed 'W.P.S.', the triggerguard tang gold-inlaid with the serial number, bright finish overall, 13 3/4in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sling swivels, engraved steel pistolgrip-cap and including 3/8in. leather covered recoil pad, gold oval escutcheon initialled 'CEP' and dated 1987, weight 9lb. 15oz. 25in. nitro chopperlump barrels with 4mm raised solid matt top-rib and side-ribs, over barrel gold-inlaid 'J. PURDEY & SONS. AUDLEY HOUSE, SOUTH AUDLEY STREET, LONDON, ENGLAND.', 3in. chambers, bored approx. true cyl. in both;
