A COMPOSED 7.92mm (8mm MAUSER) BOLT-ACTION SERVICE-RIFLE, MODEL 'K98K 'SHARP-SHOOTER', serial no. 8758,
dated for 1943, with blued 24 1/2in. barrel protected fore-sight, the elevating rear-sight with side rail for a telescopic sight, blued receiver, the left hand side with further sight rail, extended wing safety to rear of bolt, laminated wood three-quarter stock, bayonet bar under muzzle and cleaning rod, fitted with a correct pattern leather sling and complete with a 'ZF41' telescopic 'Sharp-Shooter's' sight in its lozenge tin of issue and a further 'Z4' square bodied telescopic sight on a side-rail mount in a possibly reconstructed wood transit case, together with a bayonet for the same rifle (grips replaced), a canvas breech cover, a winter trigger and an issue cleaning kit in tin
