high-grade version produced in 1994, with blued half round, half octagonal 26in. barrel, the top-flat signed 'MANUFACTURED BY THE U.S. REPEATING ARMS CO., NEW HAVEN CT. USA', the left top flat marked 'WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS POWDER', dove-tailed blade fore-sight, buckhorn rear-sight, blued receiver with push-through safety and etched with scrolls around gilt bordered panels of mouflon and deer, each animal also gilded, folding peep-sight mounted to the top-tang, chequered highly-figured walnut pistolgrip butt-stock with crescent heel-plate, matching chequered walnut fore-end and half-length magazine, in its maker's card carton appearing unused
