circa 1869, with silver plated round tapering 3 1/4in. barrel signed 'MOORE'S PAT. FIREARMS CO, BROOKLYN, NY.', crescent fore-sight, plain front-loading cylinder marked 'D. WILLIAMSON'S PATENT JANUARY 5 1864' (traces only of plating remaining), silver plated brass scroll engraved frame, smooth walnut birdshead grips and side-mounted extraction lever, together with a probably associated red leatherette storage case, the lid lined in crushed red satin, the tray lined and compartmented in red velvet with provision for loose ammunition
