circa 1860, with round 6in. barrel, applied fore-sight, applied standing notch rear-sight to the octagonal form barrel throat (traces of silver geometric inlay to throat), the barrel mount on the right hand side signed 'ARENDT BREVETE A' LIEGE' together with the serial number (rubbed), fully fluted cylinder with silver wire geometric inlays above each chamber (losses to inlays), open iron frame with full pin shield mounted with a rocking safety and a side loading gate, traces of further geometric inlays to frame, external spurred hammer and guarded trigger, smooth bag-shaped ivory grips, stud for lanyard ring at heel (ring absent) and under-barrel ejector rod, the whole an older faded refinish
