A .44 (HENRY R/F) LEVER-ACTION REPEATING CARBINE FOR RESTORATION, MODEL '1866', serial no. 78320,
for 1871, with blued 20in. barrel, the top with signature erased, standing notch rear-sight, fore-sight integral with the barrel-band, brass receiver, the left hand side marked '77', missing cartridge lifter and possible other internal parts, no provision for peep-sight on the top-tang, saddle-ring to left hand side, walnut butt-stock amateurly initialled 'R.G.', heel-plate with central trap-door, iron under-lever with small finger-loop, walnut fore-end, iron barrel-band and full length magazine,
