NEEDLE-FIRE BOLT-ACTION SERVICE-RIFLE, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'DREYSE M62', serial no. 4858, dated for 1869 with rework stamp for 1873, brushed bright octagonal to round 32 1/2in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, octagonal form brushed bright receiver stamped with a Prussian Eagle and with stepped bolt-channel, walnut three-quarter stock (badly wormed with some restoration, currently broken through at wrist), brass furniture including trigger-guard bow with spurred tang and moulded fore-end nose-cap, iron swivels and under-barrel clearing-rod
