circa 1900, with octagonal 27 3/4in. blued barrel, the top-flat at breech signed 'T.W. MURRAY & Co. CORK' together with the serial number, dove-tailed fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, side-lever borderline engraved action (traces of colour) with central hammer, chequered pistol-grip figured walnut butt-stock with smooth iron heel-plate and capped grip, guarded trigger and chequered walnut splinter fore-end, traces of finish throughout
