dated for 1894, with 21 1/4in. barrel, blade fore-sight with side protectors, the rear-sight changed for a fixed notch type on base, British War Department and ordnance stamps, slab-sided receiver marked with a Victoria crown on the right over 'H.R.B. Co' over the date and 'I.C.1', walnut butt-stock (slight chipping at head) with numbered roundel inlet to right hand side and farsi stamps, iron heel-plate, short under-lever and full-length fore-end with two iron barrel-bands, moulded nose-cap and under-barrel clearing rod
