circa 1840, with twist side by side 5 3/4in. barrels, broad top rib with bead fore-sight, scroll engraved rib-end and top-tang, platinum plugs, replacement nipples, border and scroll engraved signed 'H. TATHAM' on the bars, sliding safes behind the hammers (one hammer with full cock position only), walnut full-stock with chequered grip, domed iron butt-cap with central trap-door for caps and captive iron ramrod
