circa 1842, with round 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight, the barrel marked with London proofs, plain top-tang marked '12', borderline engraved lock of flintlock form signed 'JOHN WIGGAN' and stamped '9', walnut full-stock, the butt stamped '9' on the right and with a large crown over 'F' stamped on the left, brass furniture, the lower tang with finger spur, two barrel keys, Hanoverian bayonet catch and iron ramrod
