with 41in. brushed bright barrel, the right hand side of breech also numbered '1856' (possibly a date), fore-sight blade integral with the twin-banded brass nose-cap, standing notch rear-sight, serial number to tang, plain lock stamped with a crown over 'SUHL' over 'G.H.', walnut full-stock with raised cheek-piece, brass furniture except iron heel-plate, the top-spur stamped '26LR 9.186' for the Prussian 26th Light Infantry Regiment, three barrel bands and iron under-barrel ramrod, complete with a socket bayonet for same, no scabbard
