A .750 FLINTLOCK SERVICE-MUSKET, MODEL 'INDIA PATTERN BROWN BESS',
circa 1800, with in the white 39in. iron barrel, bead fore-sight, moulded band at breech, solid top-tang, borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' at the tail and marked with a crown and 'G.R.' device below pan, walnut handrail stock (extensive treated worm, cracked through and repaired behind lock and holed below fore-end) with carved apron around the top-tang, brass furniture including heel-plate, 'L' shaped sideplate, trigger guard bow and ramrod pipes and fitted with a replacement iron ramrod
