A .750 FLINTLOCK SERVICE-MUSKET, MODEL 'INDIA PATTERN BROWN BESS', registration no. G2783,
circa 1795, with brushed bright 39in. iron barrel, the top with the registration number for Co. Galway and also marked '90 REGT 2BN' (Cameronians, but possibly spurious), block fore-sight, moulded band at breech, solid top-tang, borderline engraved lock signed 'TOWER' at the tail and marked with a crown and 'G.R.' device below pan, walnut handrail stock with carved apron around the top-tang, brass furniture including heel-plate, 'L' shaped sideplate, trigger guard bow and ramrod pipes and fitted with an iron ramrod and stirrup swivels
