A JAPANESE KATANA WITH SIGNED BLADE,
probably early 18th century, with 26 3/4in. curved and re-polished blade, mixed metal 'habaki', modern circular 'tsuba' pierced with floral designs, skeletal 'hitsu-ana', long signed tang (signature rubbed) pierced with single 'mekugi-ana', cotton wrapped rayskin hilt with later dragon 'menuki' and other furniture pieces together with a plain black lacquered scabbard (split).
