A SCARCE CASED HOLBEIN DAGGER FOR THE NSKK,
dated for 1935, of typical form with double edged blade etched 'ALLES FUR DEUTSCHLAND', the reverse with makers mark, solid nickel silver furniture, the lower guard engraved 'NSKK REICHSWETTKAMPF 1935' (possibly engraved later), the reverse with area code 'S', shaped symmetrical hilt with eagle device to centre and 'SA' roundel at pommel, complete with its black painted scabbard with nickel mounts and leather hanging loop, the whole housed in an 'LDO' style leatherette case with moulded black felt lined compartment to lower tray and off white silk lining to lid (some staining), the outer lid decorated with gold coloured borderlines
