circa 1938, with concealed, sighted barrel, dove-tailed ramp and blade fore-sight, military pattern rear-sight graduated to 12 metres, loading aperture to top of fore-stock, bolt-action cocking, wing safety to end of receiver, walnut three-quarter stock of military style with half-pistol grip and including a period leather sling, the whole in imitation of a German Mauser K98K service rifle complete with blued steel furniture and provision for an under-barrel clearing rod (missing), much finish remaining
