30in. nitro reproved damascus barrels, sunken rib engraved 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 98 NEW BOND STREET. LONDON. WINNERS OF ALL THE "FIELD" RIFLE TRIALS. LONDON.' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/2 choke in both, (wall thicknesses below recommended minimum), treble-grip action incorporating H. Holland and J. Robertson patent barrel cocking action, patent no. 23 of 1883, action face with W.M. Scott and T. Baker patent gas checks, patent no. 617 of 1882, use number H149, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, dipped-edge lockplates, protruding tumbler pivots, best fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral bouquets, the underside engraved 'THE ROYAL PATENT SAFETY HAMMERLESS EJECTOR', brushed and blued finish, 15in. figured replacement stock (swept towards central vision) including 5/8in. leather recoil pad, weight 6lb. 4oz.
