circa 1897, 28in. replacement nitro reproved barrels (wall thicknesses well below recommended minimum, ejectors require attention), rib engraved 'Wm. POWELL & SON. CARR'S LANE. BIRMINGHAM.', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 choke in both, treble-grip action, toplever engraved '2', automatic safety, border and partial acanthus scroll engraving with a further floral spray, 14 3/8in. figured stock with chequered side panels, weight 6lb. 2oz.
