A CASED PAIR OF DF 7x50 DIENSTGLAS GERMAN WORLD WAR TWO KRIEGSMARINE BINOCULARS, serial no. 2061284,
the binoculars circa 1940 with black stipple-finish barrels, gloss furniture (worn on sharp edges), rubber armoured objective lenses, the prism housings marked with 'IV/I', the Carl Zeiss trademark, model and serial number on the left housing and 'ARTL Nr.3143' on the right, independent focussing to each eye-piece, rubber eye-guards and complete with neck-strap and leather rain-guard, together with a matching black leather case for same produced and signed by Carl Zeiss, Kriegsmarine eagle marked and with matching 'IV/I', no provision for filters in lid weight of binoculars approx. 2 1/2lbs.
