25in. nitro reproved barrel (in 2018) engraved 'JOHN RIGBY & CO. 72. ST. JAMES'S ST. LONDON', and 'RESIGHTED FOR RIGBY SPECIAL HIGH VELOCITY .275 BORE CARTRIDGES POINTED BULLET. 140 GRAINS.', open sights and four folding leaf sights, white metal inlaid sight lines and marked for 100, 300, 400, 500 and 600 yards, block mounted bead fore-sight, the receiver (with thumb cutout) mounted with a K. Kahles Helia Super telescopic sight, serial no. 261266, in quickly-detachable mounts, bolt with adjustable peep-sight, hinged floorplate with lever release, detachable fore-end with Deeley & Edge patent release, figured semi-pistolgrip stock (missing sling eye), 13 7/8in. pull including steel buttplate, weight 6lb. 10oz. (unscoped) and 8lb. 15oz. (with scope)
