circa 1865, with re-browned fine damascus 30in. barrels signed on the top-rib 'WESTLEY RICHARDS 170 NEW BOND STREET LONDON' (rubbed), single bite doll-head extension, borderline and scroll engraved bar-in-wood action, the standing breech marked 'WESTLEY RICHARDS PATENT 267', the locks signed 'WESTLEY RICHARDS', chequered walnut butt-stock, iron furniture and snap on chequered walnut splinter fore-end with crab-claw joint, together with a period oak and leather two-tier storage case lined and compartmented in green baize, the lower tray with compartments for loose cartridges
