Provenance: The vendor has kindly supplied us with the following provenance for this gun:

"built for Fred Buller, the redoubtable and lauded coarse fisherman and writer, by David J Dryhurst in 1970 when he was working as a freelance actioner and gunmaker for the Trade. Following the build and finish, the gun was subsequently stored with a West End gunmaker until quite recently. This gun is offered as it was originally made and finished, excepting that it has been professionally stripped, cleaned and the lock work and jointing have been re-lubricated. A printed electronic letter from David Dryhurst accepting that he built the gun, for Fred Buller, is available for viewing"
