for 1900 and 1911, 28in. replacement nitro barrels (in 1975, barrel numbers 15855 / 6), the ribs engraved 'WILLIAM POWELL & SON 35 CARRS LANE BIRMINGHAM.' and gold-inlaid '1' and '2' at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke (No.1) and 1/4 and 3/4 choke (No.2), treble-grip actions, the toplevers gold-inlaid '1' and '2', automatic safeties with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' details, fine acanthus scroll engraving with floral and foliate detailing, brushed bright and reblued finish overall, fore-end woods with some cracks, 15 1/4in. stocks including 1in. ebonite extensions, weight 6lb. 15oz., in a brass-cornered leather case
