with 6 1/2in. barrel, the top rib stamped with the Smith & Wesson patent and address legends, top break-action and six shot fluted cylinder, two-piece chequered hard rubber grips embellished with the intertwined 'S & W' motif, the revolver with traces of its original nickel plating, and scattered areas of pitting

Provenance: The Smith & Wesson single action target revolver was produced between 1887 and 1910 with a total production of just 4,333
