circa 1932, with blued 20in. rifled barrel, ramp fore-sight with dove-tailed blade, standing notch rear-sight with elevation screw, the side of breech block stamped with the serial number and '.22 BORE' together with 'OIL' in small font, large rotating cammed locking catch, plain air-chamber engraved 'W.W. GREENER, LONDON & BIRMINGHAM', plain walnut butt-stock with saw-backed pistol-grip (repaired at wrist) and blued iron heel-plate, blued iron trigger-guard with trigger adjustment screw and one-piece cocking link, the whole professionally refinished (some mild pitting below finish)
