NEW HAVEN CONN USA', period London proofs, dove-tailed fore-sight, buckhorn rearsight, plain blued receiver, top tang marked 'MODEL 1892' over 'WINCHESTER' over 'PAT OCT 14 1884', provision for peep sight (none fitted), plain walnut straight-hand stock, colour-hardened crescent heel-plate, finger-lever and nose-cap, plain fore-end and full-length magazine, fine condition with much factory blued finish remaining
